We never write destination guides based merely on researched information taken from the web. We only write about places we have actually been, in order to share genuine impressions and useful tips.
We’ve chosen not to participate in sponsored trips (funded by tourism boards, hotel chains, or tour operators). The Wayward Bong is all about traveling independently and we think the most useful content is based on experiences we’ve paid for ourselves.
Environmental Awareness
We do not encourage animal rides or any activities related to animal cruelty or abuse. We are highly against them. Please do not use animals for your fun. Your awesome vacation may be their nightmare.
We respect our nature. And we request people to be respectful to nature and the people, be empathetic & sensitive, travel responsibly and do not litter.

All content on The Wayward Bong is free. The site makes money in a couple of ways. The main sources are banner advertising, book sales, and affiliate commissions.
We work with only a single advertising network, Google Adsense. Their ads are fast-loading and don’t include pop-ups, auto-playing videos, or anything like that. If you see a bad ad, you can report it using the link below the ad.
Affiliate links let us earn a small commission if you decide to make a purchase at a 3rd party website.
